Psion Revival!
Fed up with fiddly screen-based input systems and severely stripped down applications in Palm and PocketPC, the modern PDA user is returning to the trusty old Psion to get some real work done! With much of the old software now Freeware, and a 5mx typically costing in the region of £60 on ebay, a Psion is the must-have accessory for the noughties. Have a look at Martin Guthrie's Pscience5 page if you don't believe me... SoftwareMy own software (and that of Dr David Henshaw) from the Palmaris era is now FREEWARE. You can download it from here. If, like me, you believe that all software previously released for ER5 should be now made freeware, please contact the program vendors, and help make the case.

Well well well - who would have thought it? Years after Psion pulled the plug
on the ER5 range of palmtops (Psion Series 5mx, Series 7, Netbook & Revo),
something is stirring in the undergrowth.
